• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record History Clearances, FBI clearance, Physical Examination, and Drug Screening.

Aufgaben

• As a Residential Specialist, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Your responsibilities may include: assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene); preparing meals and assisting with feeding; supporting daily living skills and independence; helping individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and social events; providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support; maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment; following individualized support plans and goals; promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

We are currently hiring candidates with a variety of availability, including full-time, part-time, and weekend availability.

7 Days On / 7 Days Off Schedule

• Approximately 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Hours may vary based on program and staffing needs

Overnight Schedule

• Approximately 8:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Hours may vary based on program and staffing needs
• Weekend positions available
• Evening and overnight opportunities available
• Flexible scheduling based on programmatic needs
• Holiday availability may be required

What You'll Do

As a Residential Specialist, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

• Experience in residential services, behavioral health, recovery-oriented care, or human services
• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care and person-centered practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
