Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group seeks a Mental Health Quality Assurance Manager for Olive View Crisis Residential Treatment - Central Star in Sylmar, CA. The role administers the QA program and coordinates audits to ensure Medi-Cal, LA County, and internal standards.

Requirements: Bachelor's in management or related field (or LVN/LPT license); 2 years QA or Medical Records experience; CA driver’s license. Schedule: Mon–Fri 9am–5:30pm. Salary: $69,916.88–$72,079.26 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in management, child counseling, development, psychology, or related social science field or LVN/LPT license.
• Two years QA or Medical Records experience.
• One year management/supervisory experience (preferred).
• One year mental health experience.
• Must possess a valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Quality Assurance program for the CRT.
• Coordinate auditing of documentation and ensure conformity with Medi-Cal, LA County, regulatory agencies, and internal standards.
• Participate in preparation for certification reviews by County, State, TJC, and stakeholders.
• Oversee training regimens for QA requirements and chart/incident documentation.
• Maintain CQI data and facilitate CQI Council meetings and presentations.
• Oversee Medical Records forms and QA efforts, plus audit preparation activity.
• Assist development of improved QA processes/procedures for facilities.
• Coordinate with Research, IT, EMR, and Finance departments.
• Represent SBHG on county QA/QI committees and oversee Safety Committee.
