Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Las Vegas, NM to support patients with psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. You will follow physicians, nurses, or other health practitioners' instructions, ensuring safety and well-being, and report directly to medical staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, preferred associate’s degree in behavioral studies, CPR, and health certificate where required, with 18+ and state/federal compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field,or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements)
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Care for individuals with psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders under supervision.
• Monitor patients’ safety, physical and emotional well-being.
• Report to medical staff as required.
