Job summary

A mental health service provider in Sinking Spring is seeking a Mental Health Program Assistant to assist individuals in gaining independent living and social skills. This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts and includes a competitive starting rate of $16.75/hour. Eligible staff receive benefits such as medical, dental, and paid time off. This is a great way to gain valuable experience in the mental health field! We are expanding, seeking qualified staff to assist in the opening of a new CRR in the Sinking Spring area, so we have full-time, and part-time shifts available!

Job Responsibilities

The Mental Health Program Assistant is responsible to assist individuals in acquiring skills of daily living, independent living, and social skills in the residence and in the community. Provide a safe, clean, and homelike environment for each individual and the guidance necessary to achieve independent living skills.

Requirements

• Computer knowledge is a must.
• Experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis is a plus.
• Valid PA Driver's License.
• PA Motor Vehicle Record Check.
• Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver.
• High School Diploma or GED. (Original document is required).
• Pre-employment Drug Screen.
• Pre-employment Physical Exam.
• Pre-employment TB (Mantoux) Test or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• PA Criminal History Clearance.
• FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years).
