Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling or related field.
• Current licensure as a CPC/CSW or equivalent.
• Sex Offender Evaluator certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Two years post-degree clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor release timelines and identify individuals requiring pre-release evaluations.
• Review institutional records and conduct clinical interviews to assess treatment needs and risk factors.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports with recommendations for supervision, treatment, and community-based services.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure evaluations meet program standards.
• Maintain timely documentation and utilize EMR systems as required.
• Participate in required training, meetings, and professional development.

Education

Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field

Current licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent

Sex Offender Evaluator certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire

Current CPR certification

Two years of post-degree clinical experience

Correctional healthcare experience

Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems

As an MHP-SVP Pre-Release Evaluator, you'll play a critical role in assessing individuals preparing for release and providing valuable recommendations that support treatment planning and community supervision efforts.

Position Summary

As a Master Level Mental Health Professional - SVP Pre-Release Evaluator, you'll conduct specialized assessments and evaluations of incarcerated individuals with sexual offense histories. Working collaboratively with clinical leadership and correctional partners, you will:

• Monitor release timelines and identify individuals requiring pre-release evaluations
• Review institutional records and conduct comprehensive clinical interviews to assess treatment needs and risk factors
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports that provide recommendations for supervision, treatment, and community-based services
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure evaluations are completed accurately and in accordance with program standards
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and utilize electronic medical record systems as required
• Participate in required training, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities
