Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional to join the team at Lowell Correctional Institution in Ocala, Florida. The role focuses on mental health case management, intake and assessments, crisis intervention, and providing individual and group therapy within a correctional setting.

The candidate will work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and must hold a Master's degree in a related field and an active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or be a registered intern, with BLS

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida mental health license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or SW Registered Interns.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum two years of direct care experience with individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Ability to pass background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management in a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake, assessments, and crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver individual and group therapy as part of comprehensive mental health care.
