Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional at Dade Correctional Institution in Florida City, FL. You will work in a correctional setting providing case management, assessments, and therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The schedule is 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Eligible interns earn $70-75K and fully licensed staff $80-85K with comprehensive benefits as part of our full-time team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Active Florida license: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or MH Registered Interns.
• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness (preferred).
• Ability to pass background check and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

• Provide mental health case management to patients in a correctional setting.
• Perform intake assessments and crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group therapy.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida.

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm; Monday - Friday

Registered Intern Rate: $70-$75K & Fully Licensed: $80-$85K

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or MH Registered Interns
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
