Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional at Dade Correctional Institution in Florida City to provide case management, assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy within a correctional setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field, active Florida licensure or internship, and a 8am–4:30pm schedule Monday–Friday. Compensation ranges from Intern rate to licensed clinician rates depending on credentials.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Active Florida mental health license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or MH Registered Interns.
• Active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of two years direct care for individuals with mental illness.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain agency clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management within a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake assessments and crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; provide individual and group therapy.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive mental health care.
• Participate in schedule: 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution located at:

19000 S.W. 377th Street Florida City, Florida 33034-6409

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm; Monday - Friday

• Registered Intern Rate: $70-$75K
• Fully Licensed: $80-$85K

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or MH Registered Interns
• Must have active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
