Job summary

Centurion Health in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join the Charlotte Correctional Institution team. You will provide mental health case management, conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and deliver individual and group therapy within a correctional setting.

The standard work day is 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. A Master’s degree and active Florida licensure are required, with competitive salaries for Registered

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Active Florida mental health license (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT/SW or MH Registered Interns).
• Active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of two years’ direct care experience with individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must pass background check and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management services in a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention and treatment planning.
• Deliver individual and group therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Charlotte Correctional Institution located at:

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.

8:30am-5:00pm; Monday - Friday

Registered Intern Rate: $70K & Fully Licensed: $80K

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, SW or MH Registered Interns.
• Must have active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
