Job summary

SOL Mental Health is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee daily operations across its Maryland care centers. You will supervise non-clinical staff, partner with clinical leaders, and implement workflows to improve access and quality of care.

The role emphasizes budget management, performance metrics, and staff development, with a focus on patient experience and financial performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare practice management
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; healthcare administration background preferred
• Demonstrated success in team leadership and development
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage financial and operational metrics
• Experience with healthcare EHRs, practice management, and scheduling systems
• Physical requirements: prolonged sitting, computer work, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and business functions of SOL Mental Health practices
• Supervise non-clinical Care Team Members and partner with clinical leaders
• Align clinical and operational priorities with Therapy Supervisors
• Drive patient access, flow, and experience with standardized workflows
• Optimize scheduling, provider productivity, and clinician collaboration
• Improve key metrics: new patient conversion, retention, no-show rates
• Oversee front desk operations, patient communications, and self-pay collections
• Manage budget and use data to drive decisions
• Coach and develop administrative staff, including onboarding and performance management
• Ensure regulatory compliance while leading quality improvement initiatives
