Zusammenfassung

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Johnston, IA to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations. You will dispense prescriptions, perform clerical tasks, and assist the Pharmacist while ensuring compliance with regulations. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT.

Qualified candidates hold an active Iowa Pharmacy Technician license and have reliable transportation. LTC experience and prescription data entry skills are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Active Iowa Pharmacy Technician license (unrestricted).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Experience in pharmacy data entry is preferred.
• Long Term Care experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and verifies under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify stock and update inventory data.
• Assist Pharmacist and ensure compliance with federal/state laws.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
