Job summary

Geode Health is seeking a Practice Assistant in Peachtree Corners to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients and to support both front office and clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will manage schedules, assist with intake and referrals, maintain accurate patient records in Athena EMR, handle payments, and collaborate with providers to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience aligned with our mission to improve access to mental healthcare.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Mental health or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Comfort answering the phone as a firm expectation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients with exceptional service.
• Manage front-office tasks, schedules, confirmations and waitlists.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals and forms; assist with communications.
• Support billing, collections and patient payments per policy.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain secure patient records.
