Qualifications

• Must meet California BRN faculty requirements and receive BRN approval.
• One year of teaching experience, or completion of a post-baccalaureate nursing education course.
• One year of RN direct patient care experience in assigned specialty area.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Teach theory and/or clinical nursing courses.
• Advise and mentor students on academic and clinical progress.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain records.
• Hold regular office hours and communicate with students.
• Develop, review, and revise course syllabi and curriculum.
