Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with coursework in Nursing, Education, or Administration.
• Must meet California BRN faculty requirements and receive BRN approval.
• One year of direct patient care as an RN or one academic year of RN teaching experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach theory and/or clinical nursing courses to students.
• Integrate Watson's Theory of Caring, QSEN, and the Nursing Process into instruction.
• Demonstrate clinical skills and provide remediation when needed.
• Advise and mentor students regarding academic and clinical progress.
• Coordinate student clinical experiences and collaborate with healthcare agencies.
