Job summary

Nextaff is seeking dependable Mental Health Monitors/Sitters for correctional facilities in the Phoenix area. This PRN, night-shift role is 12 hours per shift, with a commitment of three twelve-hour nights per week for 13 weeks.

No Corrections experience required; orientation and shadow shifts are provided to help you prepare. You will observe and monitor patients, report findings to medical staff, and ensure safety while following facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical support role.
• Experience monitoring surveillance screens and observing patients.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (in-person).
• Current Level One Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Copy of current immunization records.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Monitor multiple surveillance screens and patient activity.
• Report observations and any changes in patient behavior to medical staff.
• Document findings accurately and professionally.
• Maintain patient safety while following facility policies and procedures.

Mental Health Monitor/Sitter (Corrections) – Nights Phoenix, AZ | PRN | $17.00/hour | Weekly Pay

Join the Nextaff Healthcare Team! Nextaff is seeking dependable and compassionate Mental Health Monitors/Sitters for Correctional Facilities throughout the Phoenix Valley. If you meet the qualifications below, we'll provide a comprehensive orientation, including shadow shifts, so you feel confident and prepared before working independently.

Pay & Schedule

• $17.00 per hour
• W-2 Employee (Not 1099)
• 12-hour Night Shifts
• PRN position
• Must be able to commit to 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week for 13 weeks
• Weekly pay every Friday (work week runs Monday through Sunday)
