Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CMA or RMA preferred.
• Experience in medical, behavioral health, or psychiatric settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical office workflows.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist mental health providers with patient intake, rooming, and clinical documentation.
• Record and update patient histories, vital signs, and behavioral health information.
• Support care coordination and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Manage scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations for psychiatric services.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide a calm, welcoming environment for patients experiencing mental health concerns.
