Clearview Treatment Programs is seeking a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Venice, CA for a 6:30am–7:00pm shift. The role focuses on psychiatric nursing within a structured treatment setting, coordinating medical care, administering medications, and supporting a therapeutic environment.

The position requires CA LVN licensure; psychiatric experience is preferred. TB and fingerprint clearance, driving may be required. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Must hold current LVN licensure within the state of California.
• Psychiatric nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting and state clearance required.
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving record.

Mansioni

• Provides a comprehensive nursing assessment identifying clients' medical needs and limitations.
• Records and transcribes physicians' orders; executes STAT orders.
• Administers medications per physician orders and MAR; administers injections as ordered.
• Maintains security and accurate recording of controlled medications.
• Documents nursing assessments and weekly notes in electronic charting; follows Master Treatment Plan.
• Prepares clients for discharge with individualized counseling and written instructions.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth communication.
• Supports infection control program compliance across the facility.
