The role emphasizes excellent interpersonal skills, HIPAA compliance, and accurate documentation in the EHR system, with emphasis on a patient-centric approach across time zones.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a contact center or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email and Internet.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems (EHR).
• Fluent in English; Spanish may be required.
• HIPAA compliant workspace with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake communications via phone, email, and chat.
• Schedule initial appointments with care planning details.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collect and verify demographic and medical history data.
• Document all interactions in the EHR accurately.
• Coordinate referrals and assist with new patient portal setup.
