Parkridge Valley Acute Campus is seeking a Mental Health Intake Specialist - RN to provide a thorough onboarding experience for patients admitted to inpatient units and to support discharge planning. You will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure and completion of required certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a registered nurse is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with unit staff to deliver safe, effective patient care.
• Provide patient education and medication administration guidance.
• Transcribe orders accurately and support discharge planning as needed.
• Document patient responses and maintain progress notes in the electronic medical record.
