Job summary

Transitional Services for New York, Inc. in Jamaica, NY, is seeking an Employment Service Coordinator to help PROS participants identify and achieve their work goals. You will manage a caseload and deliver employment services in the community.

Responsibilities include completing paperwork, conducting assessments, developing placement strategies, and coordinating with community agencies. A Master’s degree or CASAC is preferred; experience in mental health is valuable.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field or CASAC preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with one year of mental health experience.
• High School Diploma with two years of mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of participants.
• Complete paperwork, statistics and correspondence as required by agency guidelines.
• Conduct assessments of individuals who express an interest in employment goals.
• Develop and implement intervention techniques for successful employment outcomes.
• Provide individual and group services based on service and skill level.
• Monitor and maintain participant chart and electronic health record.
• Assist individuals in locating jobs or placements and provide job coaching.

Education

Master’s Degree in related field or CASAC
