• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00.

Position Overview

As a Clinical Counselor, you will deliver evidence-based mental health services within a structured residential environment. Operating under an independent license (LISW or LPCC), you will guide clients through rehabilitation by conducting diagnostic assessments, facilitating individual and group therapy, and developing tailored treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Therapeutic Intervention: Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address mental health and behavioral challenges.
• Assessments & Planning: Conduct comprehensive clinical diagnostic assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and design individualized treatment plans.
• Caseload Management: Maintain an active caseload, consistently engage clients, monitor progress, and dynamically adjust interventions to support long-term behavioral change.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with corrections staff and medical/clinical team members to coordinate care and ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate, high-quality, and timely clinical records in full compliance with agency, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards.
• Leadership & Training: Provide clinical consultation, staff training, and clinical supervision for eligible staff or interns as assigned.
• Professional Integrity: Uphold strict professional boundaries, ethical standards, and facility protocols at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted license in the state of [Insert State] as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Please note: Independent licensure is strictly required for this role.
• Experience: Experience in a residential, correctional, forensic, or high-acuity behavioral health setting is highly preferred.
