Talbert-House is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor - Independent to provide individual and group counseling at our Lebanon, OH location. The counselor will participate in interdisciplinary teams, maintain caseloads, and ensure compliant documentation. A clinical supervision role may be involved for interns and staff development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Full Time Professional 5234 STATE ROUTE 63, Lebanon, OH, US

Salary Range: $57,200.00 To $72,000.00 Annually

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing individual and group counseling/therapy as defined by license. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning for all applicable clients. Performs comprehensive diagnostic assessment within the scope of license.

Requires one of the following licenses: LISW or LPCC

Position Description:

• Perform individual and group counseling through psychosocial intervention under general supervision
• Maintaincase load andutilization by maintaining regular contact with clients
• Monitor and assess progress utilizing supportive methods
• Interview and observe clients and prepare clinical reports and individualized service plans
• Provide family therapy according to established principles and best practices
• Provide cognitive behavioral treatment, conducts assessments, individual/group therapy
• May provide clinical direction and participate in providing in-service training to other treatment team members
• Provides diagnosis independently throughin-depth assessment.
• Assess and select appropriate counseling methods in order to maximize treatment process and outcomes, both individual and group
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities in compliance with contract, regulatory and agency requirements and clinical best practices
• Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations and licensure scope
• Consult with team members concerning situations and possible courses of action
• Serve as a license supervisor to select agency staff and/or supervise clinical interns as assigned
• Completes agency, accrediting body, and funder required training
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree and at least one of the following licenses:LISW or LPCC
