SMA Healthcare in Ocala, Florida, seeks a qualified mental health professional to provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires comprehensive assessments, development of treatment plans, ongoing monitoring, and collaboration with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for clients with substance use and mental health needs. Valid Florida driver's license and background screening required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Master's degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Certification as Addictions Professional or Licensed to practice preferred.
• Experience with target population preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychotherapy (individual/group/family) as indicated by diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Assess psychiatric history, mental status, health, social factors, and functioning.
• Develop and update an individualized treatment plan.
• Monitor client response; modify treatment as needed to ensure safety and progress.
• Educate and support clients and families; advocate for client rights and preferences.
• Document client progress in SMA's EMR per procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and treatment planning reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and outside services for best outcomes.
• Provide practical support, advocacy, coordination, and problem-solving.
