Job summary

SMA Healthcare in Ocala, FL seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide psychotherapy for individuals, groups, and families within a multidisciplinary team. You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with outside services to optimize client outcomes.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, facilitating treatment planning review meetings, and documenting progress in SMA's EMR while supporting clients and families throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field.
• Certification as Addictions Professional or licensed as Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.
• Experience with the target population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy as indicated by diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Assess psychiatric history, mental status, physical and dental health, substance use, education, employment, and social functioning.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and adjust as client needs change.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Educate and support clients and families and advocate for client rights and preferences.
• Document client progress in SMA EMR and maintain records.
