SMA Healthcare is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families. You will assess psychiatric history, develop and adjust treatment plans, and monitor progress in SMA's EMR.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate with external services to address client needs and advocate for clients' rights and preferences. Florida licensure or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related human services discipline is required.
• Certification as Addictions Professional or licensure as Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred.
• Experience with the target population is preferred.
• Additional education/experience may be required by program guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychotherapy individually, in groups, or with families as indicated by diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Assess psychiatric history, mental status, and related health factors and risks.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Monitor clients' progress and modify interventions to address changes in mental status or risk.
• Educate and support clients and families, advocating for clients' rights and preferences.
• Document progress in SMA's EMR to maintain permanent records.
