Job summary

The Doe Fund Inc is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Counselor for the Webster Residence. This full‑time role focuses on delivering case management and clinical counseling to residents of a permanent supportive housing program in Bronx, NY.

The position collaborates with HASA‑funded clients and supports independent living, budgeting, and health care linkage. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work or related field and may have licensure in CSW or MHC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field is required or preferred.
• License in CSW or MHC is preferred.
• Experience in mental health services for homeless populations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload and provide regular case management services to residents.
• Maintain resident records in compliance with funding standards.
• Conduct and review assessments and develop individual service plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist residents with securing and maintaining benefits.
