Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Coordinator to plan and provide non-medical clinical mental health services within a secure facility setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a caseload efficiently.
The ideal candidate will deliver mental health screenings, assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioning
- Provide ongoing counseling, treatment, and crisis intervention services
- Accurately document all treatment and evaluation activities in patient health records
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and clinical materials
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively in treatment delivery
- Collaborate as needed while managing an independent caseload
Schedule Notes
- Day shifts, typically 8 hours
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Initial engagement with potential for auto-offers
- Open availability required per scheduling policy
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field
- Licensure/Certification: Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice
