A leading company in mental health services is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator II to oversee various program services and staff management within a Group Home setting. The role requires coordination of individual care, behavioral support, and effective communication with the support team. The Mental Health Coordinator II (MHCII) is responsible for coordinating various services including individual finances, activities, program services, behavioral support needs, family involvement, education/vocational programs, healthcare/nutrition, and household management. The MHCII also manages staff scheduling and assists the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff and support team members. Additionally, the MHCII carries out the responsibilities of behavioral support staff during all direct care shifts.
This position is specific to certain locations and is dependent on specialized funding for specific individuals served. If the person transfers, is discharged, or funding is eliminated, the position and wage will be terminated at those locations. The role is within a Group Home setting, similar to roles like Lead Staff, Program Coordinator, House Manager/Supervisor, or Program Manager/Supervisor.
