The City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA Program is recruiting a member to help build capacity in education, environmental quality, and homeless services, addressing poverty in Austin neighborhoods.

You'll develop sustainable fundraising and data/impact measurement systems, strengthening the organization's ability to pursue diversified funding and demonstrate community need. This is a full-time, 12-month AmeriCorps VISTA term based in Texas.

Qualifications

• College graduate
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or community development preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop a sustainable fundraising and resource development system that strengthens Austin Mental Health Community's ability to identify and pursue diversified funding opportunities that increase organizational capacity to serve individuals affected by poverty.
• Develop a sustainable data and impact measurement system that strengthens Austin Mental Health Community's ability to demonstrate community need, measure organizational impact, and use data to pursue resources that address poverty and its effects.
