City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA seeks a Workforce and Behavior Data Specialist to build capacity with City departments and nonprofits in Austin. You will assess data, develop tools, and partner with managers and communities to design seasonal workforce-focused events tied to the Explorer senior year curriculum.

Starting January 11, 2027, this full-time role will contribute to Education, Youth Development, and Community Outreach across TEXAS.

Qualifications

• Must be a college graduate.
• Experience in community outreach is preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse communities.
• Volunteer or nonprofit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve data collection tools for program impact.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and partners to design seasonal events.
• Support longitudinal outcomes study and baseline analyses.
