Qualifications

• Current CMA credential required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and complete intake screenings as directed by providers.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and ensure paperwork is completed.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments for mental health and addiction services.
• Process and manage medication refill requests following established protocols.
• Determine when patient concerns need escalation to the Mental Health Nurse for triage.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and support daily clinic flow.
• Assist with referrals, release-of-information processes, and provider communication.
