Job summary

Journey Through Life in Houston, TX seeks qualified mental health professionals to join our outpatient team. This in-field role includes delivering intensive home, school, and community-based services to diverse clients, with some evenings and weekends to meet needs.

We offer supervision toward licensure, a comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive team. Spanish-speaking abilities are a plus and benefits support family-focused care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling (clinical specialty in social services) or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with the same educational requirements and two years of clinical experience.
• Eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional mental health therapy and related duties in treating clients.
• Provides intake and crisis services; develops treatment plans and evaluates methods.
• Provides individual, brief, group psychotherapy and psychometric services.
• Provides consultation and education under supervision.
• Maintains client records per licensing standards and agency policies.
