Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC), established in 1971, offers a comprehensive range of evidence-based behavioral health and addiction services for all age groups across New Jersey. With over 1,060 professionals, UBHC is among the largest behavioral health providers in the country, operating 15 sites with a budget of $260 million. Services include inpatient, outpatient, crisis stabilization, family support, community outreach, and specialized programs like suicide prevention helplines and peer support lines. In FY2016, UBHC served over 16,000 consumers and provided extensive training to various state departments.

Posting Summary

Rutgers University seeks a Mental Health Clinician III for the Emergency Screen Services at UBHC. The role involves evaluating, assessing, and providing therapeutic interventions to address psychological, emotional, and social needs. Responsibilities include formulating evaluations, developing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and case management.
