We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated mental health and addiction counselors to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health and addiction counseling and support to individuals, families and couples, focusing on various issues including addictions, gender concerns, developmental disabilities, and overall behavioral health wellness. This role requires a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. *Must be Licensed Eligible or Licensed in the state of Massachusetts*

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family and couples counseling sessions to address mental health issues and personal development.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide case management services, including coordinating care with other professionals and agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients manage their symptoms effectively.
• Offer specialized counseling services related to gender issues and developmental disabilities.
• Engage in Christian counseling practices when appropriate, respecting the diverse beliefs of clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Addiction, Psychology, or a related field.
• Valid licensure, license eligible or certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in mental health and addiction counseling, particularly with individuals, couples and families and in group settings.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and case management practices.
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in therapy sessions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in practice.
