Location: Remote Baltimore Metropolitan Area

Shift: 10 am to 6 pm

Sign-On Bonus: $1200

Job Description

This position provides person-focused therapeutic services for individuals experiencing mental and behavioral health events of varying acuity, inclusive of substance use and/or withdrawal. The clinician contributes to the collaborative plan of care and delivery of services through assessment, evaluation, crisis interventions, referrals, and development and implementation of treatment plans using outcome-based goals. The role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team with the individual as a decision-maker.

  • Provide a full range of crisis and behavior stabilization services supporting clients with behavioral health needs.
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals in crisis or experiencing high acuity symptoms.
  • Collaborate with peer recovery specialists, nurses, and other professionals to provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and de-escalation.
  • Coordinate transportation to emergency rooms, shelters, or outpatient clinics as appropriate.
  • Refer individuals to outpatient facilities and services using established mechanisms.
  • Provide short-term, evidence-based counseling to individuals and support to their families or natural support systems, within scope of work.
  • Attend relevant training courses such as MCRSS.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to company policies, expectations, and behavioral competencies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications

Educational and License Requirements:

  • Master's in Clinical Psychology (MA or MS) or Social Work (MSW)
  • Current counseling/social work license in Maryland (LCPC, LGPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C)
  • Current BLS Certification preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years as a counseling professional

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical and Psycho-Social Demands

Includes prolonged sitting, standing, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and managing emotional and stressful situations. Demonstrates distress tolerance, ethical decision-making, and maintains interpersonal boundaries.

Working Conditions

Remote, full-time position with scheduled hours from 10 am to 6 pm EST, no travel required. Exempt status: hourly, non-exempt.
