Job summary
Summit Pointe seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with medical staff in the outpatient medication management clinic and CCBHC. You will conduct face-to-face medication reviews for clients receiving ongoing mental health treatment and assist physicians with prescribing and monitoring medications.
The role requires Michigan licensure as an NP or PA, CPR certification, and experience in medical or behavioral healthcare.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Michigan with NP or PA certification.
- CPR certification required.
- Two years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing evaluations and medication assessments per guidelines.
- Administer, monitor, and review medications as ordered by physician.
- Assist physicians with medication reviews and prescribing processes.
- Call in prescriptions to designated pharmacies as directed.
- Maintain comprehensive electronic medical records and health histories.
- Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
