Job summary

MIND BODY OPTIMIZATION INC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PMHNP) for outpatient psychiatric care. You will perform evaluations, diagnoses, and develop comprehensive treatment plans including therapy and medication management.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide crisis interventions, educate patients, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current PMHNP or PMHNP-BC licensure.
• 5–10 years of healthcare/mental health administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including history, mental status exams and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with therapy and medication management.
• Manage psychotropic medications with initiation, titration, and monitoring.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for acute cases.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers and other providers.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and adherence.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
