Job summary

Hour House is seeking a dedicated Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling to adults in early recovery from Substance Use Disorder. The counselor will work as part of a team with supervision and consultative support, and documentation will be done through EMR.

The role requires at least one evening and one weekend day per week. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work and 1+ year of social service experience, plus a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• 1+ years of social service experience.
• 3+ years of continuous sobriety.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to adults in early recovery from Substance Use Disorder.
• Collaborate as a member of a team with regular supervision and consultation.
• Document services through electronic medical records (EMR).
• Work a minimum of one evening per week and one weekend day.
