Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a motivated technician to support the engineering team in Santa Clara, maintaining, debugging, and repairing high-volume Automated Test Equipment, handlers, and loadboard hardware in a low-to-medium volume final test facility.

The role focuses on line-side technical support, ensuring tool uptime and successful PM activities for zero-defect automotive and industrial shipments. Education requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate Degree considered

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree is a plus.
Experience: 0–2 years in automated electronics or semiconductor back-end manufacturing.
Software/Systems: Working knowledge of MES software, ERP/SAP, and MS Excel for production logs.

Responsibilities

Machinery Operation: Set up and run production machinery (ATE test handler loading).
Device Testing & Handler Support: Load device trays into automated test handlers; monitor jam rates and clear jams to maintain throughput.
Visual & Mechanical Inspection: Inspect die surfaces, bond wires, and package leads for cracks or solder bridging.
Lot Inventory & Yield Tracking: Record pass/fail yields and test data in MES/ERP; flag low-yield lots to quality/product engineers.
