Job summary

SiTime in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Test Development Engineer to lead hardware and software test solution development for precision timing devices. You will define ATE test hardware and software from development to production, involving board-level design, algorithm development, and validation on custom and standard ATE platforms.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong programming skills in C++, MATLAB and Python, and a hands-on approach in the lab.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 5–10 years experience.
• Experience in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs.
• Hands-on with Teradyne ETS-364/ETS-88, uFLEX and LTX-Credence ASL1K.
• Knowledge of analog electronics and board-level design/debug.
• Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
• Lab instrumentation experience; metrology systems preferred.
• Proficiency in C++, MATLAB and Python.
• Strong teamwork and urgency to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust ATE test solutions for SiTime timing devices.
• Design board-level test hardware and probe cards.
• Set up, debug and optimize automated test programs.
• Ensure test programs are scalable and reusable (GR&R).
• Lead NPI test package transfers to production.
• Collaborate with overseas teams to release solutions.
• Lead yield improvement and cost-reduction projects.
• Support other projects as needed.
