Job summary

SiTime Corporation in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a MEMS Production Software Engineer to support manufacturing operations through software development, debugging, and real-time optimization on the production floor.

You will build tools for MES and production planning, refine test programs to boost throughput, and collaborate with production teams to deliver reliable software solutions in a fast-paced MEMS environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, MATLAB, LabVIEW or C++ for application development and automation.
• Experience with SQL databases and data management systems.
• Understanding of Git and software debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time debugging and troubleshooting support for software on the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Design, develop, and deploy tools and features for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enhance production tracking and workflow automation.
• Create and maintain software applications that support production automation and planning, including scheduling tools and capacity planning modules.
• Analyze and optimize test programs to reduce cycle time and improve throughput while maintaining product quality.
• Develop technical documentation for software tools and train production staff on new technologies.
