Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Supervisor, Fiber to oversee fiber optic cabling installation, modification, and splicing in a Tier 3/4 data center setting.

You will lead crews, coordinate contractors, maintain safety culture, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

This in-person role is based in Memphis with ~20% travel. You will work with Operations and Engineering to schedule critical work, monitor quality, and document progress daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience managing teams in data center settings.
• 3+ years direct data center experience installing and routing optical fiber in Tier 3/4 facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Pre-employment drug and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.
• Evenings and weekends availability; schedule varies by site needs.
• Physical requirements: tight spaces and exposure to noise.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
• Ensure quality of work by crews.
• Complete projects on time and under budget.
• Maintain daily written log and plot plans of activities on the job site.
• Lead, direct, train, and supervise foremen and crews.
• Promote, execute, and adhere to safety program and cultivate safety culture.
• Work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Encourage teamwork.
