Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, Tennessee, seeks a hands-on Fiber Superintendent to oversee fiber optic cabling installation, modification and splicing. You will lead crews, coordinate contractors, and ensure our data center network remains robust in a fast-paced tech environment.

This is an in-person role based in Memphis with approximately 20% travel. You will manage schedules, enforce safety programs, and drive quality across all work streams while maintaining daily logs and ensuring on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing teams in data center cabling environments.
• Experience installing and routing optical fiber in large Tier 3/4 facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; background checks and drug testing applicable.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as site needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule employees, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with contracted scope of work
• Ensure quality of work by crews
• Complete projects on time and under budget
• Maintain daily log and plots on-site activities
• Lead, direct, train, and supervise foremen and crews
• Promote safety program and foster safety culture
• Work safely and collaboratively with the team
• Encourage teamwork
