Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis is seeking a Manager, Fiber to lead and oversee all fiber optic infrastructure activities in our data center. You will drive large-scale installations, maintenance, and optimization projects while mentoring technicians and ensuring safety, quality, and high-speed connectivity that powers AI training.

You will collaborate with foremen, project managers, and superintendents, providing technical guidance, training, and QA across fiber work, and you’ll help document as-built

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center fiber installation, certification, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in datacenter fiber installation and maintenance.
• Oversee all phases from planning to testing and handover.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, compliant work environment.
• Develop inspection protocols and maintenance routines.
• Provide technical guidance and training across fiber work.
• Maintain accurate records and drawings.
• Collaborate with PMs and other trades.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot fiber issues.
