Job summary

You will influence vendor roadmaps, participate in technical reviews, and work with Cisco design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure readiness of memory solutions for next‑generation products. The role requires 8+ years in memory design/applications or FAE, with expertise in DDR, ECC, and memory

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years’ experience in memory design/application OR Field Application Engineering.
• Assess emerging memory technologies, architectures, and industry roadmaps, including DDR6 and evolving JEDEC memory standards, to identify technology trends.
• Strong knowledge of DRAM ECC methodologies to enhance memory reliability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cisco design teams to enhance memory quality & reliability across Cisco platforms.
• Serve as the SME for memory technologies, investigating next-generation memory solutions.
• Assess emerging technologies and roadmaps to determine feasibility and readiness for future products.
• Lead investigations and end-to-end failure analysis with vendors (8D, RCA).
