Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to help advance DRAM technology and products. The role focuses on semiconductor design engineering tasks, including layout design, circuit checking, specifications documentation, and evaluation of memory devices.

The engineer will design and optimize memory circuits with emphasis on performance, power, area, and manufacturability, using SPICE and Verilog, and contribute to silicon validation and AI-enabled improvements to design workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of memory array architectures, circuits, and operation.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation setup, analysis, and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, and optimize memory circuits with focus on performance, power, area, and manufacturability.
• Perform circuit simulation and analysis using SPICE and Verilog to validate circuit functionality.
• Develop and support schematic blocks including memory arrays, control logic, address decoders, datapaths, and test circuitry.
• Evaluate design architecture tradeoffs and account for layout parasitics for silicon robustness.
• Drive innovation through test chip development, silicon validation, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.
