Qualifications

• Training in geriatrics (nursing, social work, rehabilitation or therapeutic recreation) or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, dining).
• Provide compassionate care and support for individuals with dementia.
• Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
• Support residents with transportation, errands and daily routines.
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision.
