Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, Ohio is seeking a Companion/Caregiver for Assisted Living. The role provides hands-on support with activities of daily living and helps maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, mobility, dining, and toileting; coordinating laundry and housekeeping tasks; monitoring health and safety, and participating in activity programs and emergency drills. Onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Onsite presence required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as dressing, bathing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Delivers and picks up bed/bath linen and may handle personal laundry.
• Observes and reports health changes to management and conducts resident rounds.
• Encourages participation in scheduled programs and assists with activities.
• Responds appropriately in emergencies and attends required inservices.
