Job summary

The Residence at Village Greens is seeking a Resident Wellness Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents in daily activities, mobility, and personal care. This role emphasizes dignity, respect, and empathy, leveraging Memory Care techniques to reduce stress and encourage cooperation.

You will work closely with residents, families, and the care team to promote comfort, safety, and overall well-being while maintaining clear documentation and ethical care practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification and/or CPR certification preferred.
• Home Health Care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support for daily living activities.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and hygiene.
• Maintain dignity, respect, and empathy in all interactions.
• Collaborate with Wellness Director and care team on care plans.
• Maintain a safe, organized medication area and document care.
• Build relationships with residents and families while upholding ethics.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
