Job summary

Coterie Senior Living - Cathedral Hill is seeking a Memory Care Assistant to support residents with dementia, assist with meals, and promote daily activities in Memory Care. You will help deliver person-centered care and collaborate with the Wellness and Memory Care teams to enrich each resident's daily experience.

The role requires compassionate care, attention to safety, and the ability to follow care plans. Vaccination records must be provided; location is on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care to individuals with dementia or cognitive impairment.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all care needs of Memory Care residents.
• Set up tables and serve meals in the dining room.
• Provide snacks and beverages daily and assist with clean-up.
• Assist with daily living activities per each Resident's Service Plan.
• Engage residents in structured and unstructured activities.
• Communicate needs to Memory Care Director and other departments as needed.
